Buxton Drama League takes a step back in time, on a tour of one scruffy, depressed road in a small Northern town in the 1980s. Moving from street corner to living room, from bedroom to kitchen, we meet the inhabitants – young, middle-aged, and old – glimpsing their socially and emotionally desperate lives, in Jim Cartwright’s sharp, sad, funny, and angry play.
